Pooling
Are you an independent software developer?
... and
- do you have a registered company in Sweden or Norway?
- and are you interested in working on Java based web systems running on all kinds of platforms?
Then you may want to join our developer pool and you should contact us.
What is pooling?
In order for smaller companies such as us to effectively compete with large resource consulting companies we need to have an edge on them. We believe that that edge is not the number of consultants you have in an office but the ability to mobilize a crack team of people who are 100% relevant to the project at hand. Traditionally such networks are implicitly forged by friends knowing friends.
We take a different approach in that we create such a pool explicitly by focusing on individual expertise and the desire to remain independent. This means that our pool is not as closed as many contact based networks are, as we focus on what you do, and not on where you live and who you know.
Naturally, such a pool works in all directions. At any time members of the pool may announce requests for expertise for projects they govern. In this way independent professionals can match projects with their skills and availability and project managers requirements with expertise. For customers this method means an higher quality of service. Many project based industries use this method of collaboration like, for instance, the film industry. In software development this method of collaboration is mostly used for Open Source projects. We expand on that by using this method for commercial projects large or small.
