IdreData is happy to announce that the first in a suite of OpenEdit based eCommerce applications will be released before the end of the year.

This application is a booking system for the tourism industry. It will enable tourism providers to have their guests book products such as guided tours, snow mobiles, etc. on-line. Customers will be able to pay on-line using their credit cards.

The system will be easy to adapt to various payment service providers and will support credit check services for allowing payment by invoice.

The application will be released under GPL v3 (Open Source). IdreData will offer a range of services around the suite ranging from customization to hosting.

The first customer deployment of this application is planned for late December.
